Customer’s Challenge

Our customer needed to accumulate single, 3 pack, and 6 packs of wrapped containers. After accumulation, the bottles or packs needed to be single filed onto an outfeed conveyor to continue down the line.

Garvey’s Solution

As our solution, first, the product would transfer via a butt splice in single file from an existing conveyor onto a Sub-Assembly. Then the product traveling on the Sub-Assembly, in single file, would side transfer onto a Bi-Flo accumulation table. The Bi-Flo would convey the product in mass or accumulate in mass depending on line conditions. After accumulation, the product would be single filed by a custom star wheel that orients the product, width leading, out and side transfers onto a second Sub-Assembly.
